Social media personality Saida Boj has joined the growing online debate surrounding skit maker and streamer Carter Efe and his baby mama, strongly criticising the entertainer over his recent comments about their relationship.
Reacting to Carter Efe’s public claims of being single and distancing himself from his former partner, Saida Boj argued that a person’s true character often becomes visible after money, fame, and public attention arrive.
According to her, relationships formed during difficult times are frequently re-evaluated once success enters the picture, often to the disadvantage of those who stood by their partners during periods of hardship.
She maintained that it was unfair to describe a woman as a burden after she had supported a man through financial struggles, emotional challenges, and pregnancy.
Saida Boj suggested that the sudden shift in attitude may be connected to Carter Efe’s growing popularity and increased public recognition, rather than genuine problems within the relationship.
“You never really know the character of some men until money enters their lives,” she said. “This lady fell in love with you, stood by you when you had nothing, got pregnant for you, and tolerated you during your broke days. Now that recognition and attention are coming, she suddenly becomes a burden and a bad person.”
Her remarks have since fueled fresh reactions online, with many social media users debating loyalty, accountability, and how fame can reshape personal relationships.
The controversy continues to trend as Nigerians share mixed opinions on responsibility, success, and respect in modern relationships.
