Popular Nigerian social media personality Jarvis became emotional during a recent livestream as she spoke candidly about her mother’s ongoing health struggle, describing it as her current reality.

“My Mother Is Sick” – Jarvis Shares Personal Struggle

In the emotional video, Jarvis revealed that her mother is battling a medical condition, although she chose not to disclose specific details.

She explained that the situation goes beyond financial help, stressing that it is one of those challenges that cannot be solved with money alone.

According to her, she is relying on faith, prayer, and hope as she navigates the difficult period.

“My mum is sick, and that’s my reality right now. This isn’t something money can fix,” she said.

Fear of Social Media Exploitation

Jarvis also expressed concern that her mother’s condition could be turned into content or used for mockery on social media.

She said this fear has made her more guarded, especially given how personal struggles are sometimes exploited online for engagement.

“I’m scared social media would want to record my mum or use her condition against me,” she added.

Speaks on Searching for Her Father

During the livestream, the content creator also opened up about her relationship with her father, revealing that he has been absent for most of her life.

According to Jarvis, her father, who she said is Senegalese, stopped communicating with her when she was still a child, forcing her to search for him on her own.

She noted that the absence of both parental support and stability has made the current situation even more emotionally draining.

Fans React With Support

Following the livestream, fans and followers flooded the comment section with messages of encouragement, prayers, and support for Jarvis and her family.

Many praised her for being open and vulnerable, while others urged social media users to respect her privacy during the difficult time.

As of the time of this report, Jarvis has not shared further updates on her mother’s condition.
