A woman who went viral following a heated confrontation with popular Nigerian TikToker and streamer Peller has spoken publicly about the incident, offering her own account of what transpired.
The incident, which occurred at an eatery, sparked widespread reactions on social media after a video showed the content creator verbally confronting the woman in public.
What Happened
In the viral clip, Peller was seen challenging the woman after alleging that she referred to him as “noisy” and “illiterate.” During the exchange, he questioned her educational background, drawing criticism from many online observers.
Lady Denies Provocation
Reacting to the backlash, the woman, identified on Instagram as @nomaodigie, described the encounter as one of the most bizarre experiences she has ever had.
In a statement shared on her social media page, she denied making the comments attributed to her, insisting that she neither insulted nor provoked the streamer.
“The entire reaction was unwarranted and disproportionate to what happened. I never called him illiterate or irritating,” she wrote.
She added that eyewitnesses at the scene advised her to ignore the situation as it escalated, stressing that she was caught off guard by the confrontation.
Public Reactions
The lady further described Peller’s behaviour as inappropriate and said she felt unfairly portrayed by narratives circulating online after the video surfaced.
The incident has continued to generate debate on social media, with users divided over public conduct, accountability, and the responsibilities of online influencers.
Related Developments
The confrontation comes weeks after Peller was involved in a separate controversy in December 2025, when he crashed his Mercedes-Benz SUV along the Lekki–Epe Expressway during a livestream. The streamer was later hospitalised and subsequently appealed to fans for financial support, saying repairs to the vehicle could cost up to ₦11 million.
As discussions continue, neither party has indicated any legal action over the eatery incident.
