There is growing concern and confusion online following reports that popular philanthropist and content creator King Mitchy has reportedly passed away after a troubling incident linked to her ongoing public feud with activist VeryDarkMan.
The information surfaced via a statement shared on King Mitchy’s official Instagram page by her management team late Tuesday, triggering shock, grief, and widespread calls for verification across social media.
King Mitchy and VeryDarkMan had been embroiled in a heated online confrontation over accountability and the use of NGO funds donated by Nigerians. What began as verbal exchanges and social media accusations reportedly escalated into emotional distress.
In a deeply disturbing development during the height of the feud, King Mitchy was seen in a viral TikTok Live video allegedly ingesting a substance believed to be Hypo. The footage sparked immediate panic, with viewers urging emergency intervention and expressing fear for her life.
In the Instagram statement attributed to her management, it was claimed that King Mitchy was rushed to a hospital in Abuja, where her condition was described as “critical” and “50/50.”
The statement later alleged that she passed away despite medical efforts.

“We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on.
Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived.
Michi was more than a talent — she was family, full of life, light, and dreams.
Please respect the privacy of her family and loved ones as we try to process this loss.”
The statement further claimed that her mother reportedly collapsed upon hearing the news in Lagos and was taken to a hospital.
