A young woman identified as Aisha Wahab from Auchi, Edo State, has regained her freedom after reportedly spending two weeks in captivity.

According to reports, Aisha was released after her family allegedly paid a ₦20 million ransom to secure her freedom.
The news of her release was made public by Davido’s logistics manager, Israel DMW, through a post shared on his Instagram page.
Israel revealed that the full ransom amount demanded by the abductors was successfully paid, confirming that Aisha’s family had reached out to him to share the good news of her safe return.
Aisha’s abduction had earlier caused panic among friends and family in Auchi, with several social media users amplifying calls for her release.
Her safe return has since sparked relief and gratitude online, with many Nigerians thanking God for her survival and calling for stronger security measures across the country.
