Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has responded to social media influencer King Mitchy, addressing the reasons behind being blocked by the controversial content creator.
Sarah recalled that Mitchy blocked her shortly after philanthropist Seyi Tinubu extended support to her NGO. The actress also remembered meeting Mitchy at Toyin Abraham’s movie premiere, where she felt looked down upon and embarrassed. Despite this, Sarah maintained her composure at the time.
In defense, Mitchy explained that her decision to block Sarah was personal, based on peace and self-respect, and had nothing to do with money. She stated that she intentionally distances herself from people connected to someone she does not get along with, emphasizing that the move was about boundaries, not drama.
Sarah questioned the timing of Mitchy’s actions, noting that she had always been friends with Jojo, with whom Mitchy reportedly has issues. She highlighted the irony in Mitchy unblocking her only to interact with negative comments aimed at her.
She wrote:
“So you waited for S.T to empower my foundation with a charity kitchen before you suddenly remembered I’m friends with Jojo and then blocked me, ehhh baby???
I never knew I was meant to inherit your beef with people, because you’re King Mitchy?
And today u unblocked me only to be liking every troll comment projected to attack me… Wow.
I’ve been on this journey since 2018, long before you started, so it’s never been about u; it’s been about God and my love for humanity, sis.
And as for Jojo, I knew her before you, so why should I unfollow her because you followed me???
Humanity is all about spreading love, so I wonder why you’re spreading HATE! Love and light always tho.”
The Larger Feud
The exchange comes amid Mitchy’s ongoing feud with activist VeryDarkMan (VDM). The conflict began after Mitchy challenged VDM over his NGO donations, claiming they were not used effectively. The controversy escalated with accusations about her school renovations, alleged bullying, and inappropriate behavior claims.
The influencer had also faked her death twice online, further fueling outrage and confusion among netizens, and at one point reportedly lost her business page to the drama.
As the feud continues to play out publicly, Sarah’s statement underscores the importance of personal integrity and spreading love amid the chaos of social media controversies.
