The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced the release of results for candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination held on Thursday, April 16.
According to the board, a total of 632,788 results are now available for candidates to access.
In a statement signed by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB directed candidates to check their results by sending UTMERESULT through SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number used during registration.
The board explained that candidates can currently only view their scores, while printing of official result slips will be enabled at a later date.
JAMB also issued a strong warning against altering or falsifying result messages received through its official channels.
The board said any attempt to manipulate scores or create fake results to mislead parents or members of the public is a criminal offence.
According to JAMB, enforcement action has already begun, with two candidates and one parent reportedly arrested over alleged result falsification involving artificial intelligence and other digital tools.
The examination body warned that any candidate found guilty of such offences will face legal consequences.
JAMB further assured candidates that the 2026 UTME exercise is still ongoing and that more results will be released in batches as processing continues.
